Inclusions

Your photographer Phillip Puckey captures a styled wedding shoot on 2 – 3 locations. We visit some truly remote locations only accessible by boat, or helicopter, as an add on, if you choose.

Florist and Creative Director, Nicole Mcnight, sees wonder in the unusual and enjoys using garden grown, wild and non-traditional flora in her designs. After a creative consultation with you to understand your wedding vibe and vision Nicole will create a bespoke, beautiful bouquet and buttonhole as well as work alongside our cake designer to put together a small celebatory cake in your choosen style and colour palette. There is also the opportunity to upgrade your floral package as an add on.

Gravity work with exceptional Chefs, they all have proven excellence in their field, a passion for food and respect for how it’s harvested.

Given the connection to the ocean you can expect fresh seafood to be a star on your plate, but if that’s not to your taste we can accommodate all dietary requirements.

Your chef caters for your second day on the Island starting with a picnic lunch with stunning surrounds, then dinner is the main event where your chef will prepare mouthwatering courses right before your eyes.

You host Anna, works with you to plan your day and host your experience, so everything runs smoothly. You can relax, because she will have everything planned.

The starter package includes 2 nights private accommodation. Being so remote Stewart Island isn’t flush with options, but you can trust we’ve chosen the two best which are comfortable and spacious with stunning views.

We prefer to stay on the waterfront in Lonnekers Beach, you’ll be perched above the sea and surrounded by native bush. Accommodation includes open plan kitchens which are important for your evening dining experience.

Our accommodation options are spacious, and cater for up to groups of 12 people, so if you wish to travel with friends or family this is no problem.

Fly in on your first day, at a time that suits you depending on available flight times. This means you have plenty of time to relax on your first night, so you are fresh for the next day. You’ll be greeted at the Stewart Island terminal and taken to your accommodation.

Flights depart from the main terminal building at Invercargill Airport, and are a scenic 20 minute flight, with just 9 passengers per plane.

Note that there is a bag limit of 15kg per passenger and a small carry-on bag, but you can securely store excess baggage with Stewart Island Flights free of charge.

Take your experience to new heights with a Helicopter flight to some truly untouched locations on Masons and Gutter beach, photo shoots on these locations are pretty spectacular.

Extend your photo shoot or include videography to capture even more of your experience. Video adds a whole new layer of emotion and is great to share with friends and family.

We recognise not all couples want to ‘tie the knot’ in a traditional way, so we can arrange a local Marriage Celebrant on request. Gwen Neave has lived most of her life on Rakiura, Stewart Island and has close connection to the local Iwi. A fitting match for a wedding influenced by the stunning natural environment.

A professional hair stylist for the bride is a great choice, so you’re relaxed, looking good and feel confident.

Your beautiful blooms can be upgraded to include a floral nest or archway, hair crown or hair piece.

Sometimes more is merrier, so if you want to elope with your friends and family, we can support larger wedding parties.

Alcohol is BYO as we are not licensed to sell alcohol as part of the experience. However, we’d love to recommend you what beverages would best match your meal, as planned by your Chef.

Please let us know as soon as you need to make changes or cancellations. We understand ‘life’ happens, so will try to be as accommodating as possible, but each cancellation and change is treated case by case to ensure we can cover costs.

We will do our best to accommodate you in wild weather conditions by using our local knowledge to access sheltered spots.  We do recommend that you bring appropriate clothing to keep warm and dry.
